Fustic is a medium to large tree found from Mexico to Argentina. It is a hardwood which produces a natural yellow dye derived after it's name called fustic.  It was known primarily for coloring khaki fabric for U.S. military apparel during World War I.

This is because as the cork absorbs a small amount of wine, it becomes slightly swollen and forms a tighter seal against the glass than if it was dry. The tight seal keeps air from leaking in, which can ruin the wine.

This Curved Wine Bottle Holder is designed to hold an inner corked wine bottle. The bottle may be full or empty.  Balancing angle will depend on how far the bottle neck is placed within the neck hole on the holder.
