Now you can create your own sign! Handmade by us at Heartwood Gifts from 3/4" birch ply, each sign is hand cut, laser engraved, hand painted and features our signature exposed wood edges. Great for shabby chic or farmhouse style decors. A sawtooth clip is also added onto the back, so it's ready to hang and enjoy.
Expect there to be certain natural imperfections - knots, nicks and/or pits in the wood. We also don't pre-make or keep inventory - each sign is made to order and will never be identical to another - this is the beauty of our handmade signs! The back of the sign may remain unpainted.
The optional interior grade protective clear coating will prolong the life of your investment by adding an invisible barrier over the paint, sealing and protecting it from oily dirty fingers and moisture.

A Note About the Use of Images:
My laser engraving technique is limited to using outlines and silhouettes for one-colour images (high resolution only). If there is more than one colour, then the image needs to look like a stencil (example here). You may submit your own, or I will source my own.
Colour chart serves only as a general reference.
Note: we will turn down any custom engraving/sign order which includes explicit sexual, hate, racist or profane content.

Great Product and Service
My wife loved the custom wood sign I got for her! I was contacted very quickly with two proofs and was assured that the colors I chose would work well together and they did. Beautiful custom design
I wanted to order a birth announcement sign for a friend but none of the sample designs quite fit what I was looking for. Curtis helped me customize a design and did a fabulous job on making it and was incredibly responsive throughout the process.
