Now you can create your own wood sign! Handmade by us at Heartwood Gifts from solid 3/4" birch ply, each sign is hand cut, laser engraved, hand painted, and features our signature exposed wood edges. Great for shabby chic or farmhouse style decors. A sawtooth clip is also added onto the back, so it's ready to hang and enjoy.
Expect there to be certain natural imperfections - knots, nicks and/or pits in the wood. We also don't pre-make or keep inventory - each sign is made to order and will never be identical to another - this is the beauty of our handmade signs! The back of the sign may remain unpainted.
The optional interior grade protective clear coating will prolong the life of your investment by adding an invisible barrier over the paint, sealing and protecting it from oily dirty fingers and moisture.

A Note About the Use of Images:
My laser engraving technique is limited to using outlines and silhouettes for one-colour images (high resolution only). If there is more than one colour, then the image needs to look like a stencil (example here). You may submit your own, or I will source my own.
Colour chart serves only as a general reference.
Note: we will turn down any custom engraving/sign order which includes explicit sexual, hate, racist or profane content.

Better then expected!
I ordered a sign for the bar downstairs in our home after a dear friend passed away and we decided to name the room in his honour. Amazing hand made signs!
Heartwood gifts provided amazing customer service in placing and creating my order. I was having trouble online so my order was taken over the phone and my call was returned shortly after leaving my original message. I even added to my order later and made changes to each sign (3 in total), they exercised extreme patience and got everything just as I asked for! The quality of the signs is second to none, I would definetly order again and recommend my friends and family. :)
